A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT APPROPRIATING MONEY TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING OPTIONAL SERVICES UNDER THE MONTANA MEDICAID PROGRAM; AND PROVIDING A CONTINGENT EFFECTIVE DATE."

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:

 

     NEW SECTION.  Section 1.  Appropriation. There is appropriated from the general fund to the department of public health and human services $125,000 for each of the fiscal years beginning July 1, 2003, and July 1, 2004. The appropriation must be used for optional services in the medicaid program as provided for in 53-6-101(3).

 

     NEW SECTION.  Section 2.  Contingent effective date. If House Bill No. 215 is passed and approved, then [this act] is effective July 1, 2003. If House Bill No. 215 is not passed and approved, then [this act] is void.
