A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT REVISING THE NUMBER OF VOTES REQUIRED TO AUTHORIZE A COUNTY WATER OR SEWER DISTRICT TO INCUR BONDED INDEBTEDNESS; AND AMENDING SECTION 7-13-2328, MCA."
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:
Section 1. Section 7-13-2328, MCA, is amended to read:
"7-13-2328. Sufficient Majority vote required to issue bonds. If from such the returns it appears that 60% or more from the election held as provided in 7-13-2323 indicate that a majority of the votes cast on the question at such the election were in favor of and assented to the incurring of such bonded indebtedness, then the board of directors may by resolution, at such time or times as it considers proper, provide for the form and execution of the bonds and for the issuance of any part thereof of the bonds."
