BY REQUEST OF THE FIRE SUPPRESSION COMMITTEE
A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT APPROPRIATING MONEY TO THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND CONSERVATION FOR PARTICIPATION IN FEDERAL FOREST MANAGEMENT PLANNING ACTIVITIES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE."
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:
NEW SECTION. Section 1. Appropriation. There is appropriated from the general fund to the department of natural resources and conservation $200,000 for the biennium beginning July 1, 2009, for department participation in federal forest management activities required under 76-13-702.
NEW SECTION. Section 2. Effective date. [This act] is effective July 1, 2009.
