A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT APPROPRIATING MONEY TO THE DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 1999, TO PROVIDE FOR RELOCATION OF AGENCIES DURING RENOVATION OF THE CAPITOL; AND PROVIDING AN IMMEDIATE EFFECTIVE DATE."



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:



     NEW SECTION.  Section 1.  Appropriation. There is appropriated $266,400 from the general fund for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1999, to the department of administration to provide the necessary telecommunications, rent differential, and relocation expenditures for agencies moving from the capitol while the capitol is renovated. Any unspent balance is continued for the same purpose into fiscal year 2000.



     NEW SECTION.  Section 2.  Effective date. [This act] is effective on passage and approval.
