HOUSE BILL NO. 8

A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT APPROPRIATING MONEY TO THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE FOR USE BY THE MONTANA CAPITAL INVESTMENT BOARD TO IMPLEMENT THE PROVISIONS OF THE MONTANA EQUITY CAPITAL INVESTMENT ACT; AND PROVIDING AN IMMEDIATE EFFECTIVE DATE."
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:
NEW SECTION. Section 1. Appropriation. There is appropriated $222,798 from the state general fund to the department of commerce for use by the Montana capital investment board to implement the provisions of the Montana Equity Capital Investment Act.
NEW SECTION. Section 2. Effective date. [This act] is effective on passage and approval.
